Introduction

With the support of local and foreign organizations engaged in engineering development and practice, the conference will be an international forum for scientists, engineers, economists, and decision-making officials to exchange new ideas, share practical knowledge, discuss and analyze the various aspects regarding the implementation of sustainable energy programs and the engineering technology in the implementation, giving emphasis to poverty eradication and relief in developing countries.
The International Conference on Engineering for Sustainable Energy in Developing Countries (ESEDC 2013) aims to strengthen relationship between the energy sector, research laboratories and universities.
The 3-day program contains keynote speeches, 9 panels, women engineers forum and technical visit.

Hosted by WFEO-CE and supported by UNESCO, the conference is organized by Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) and China Southern Power Grid (CSG). It is sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).

With the theme of "Toward a Sustainable Future", the conference will provide a broad platform for scientists, engineers, economists and decision-making officials to exchange new ideas, share practical knowledge and meet counterparts in the field of sustainable energy implementation and development.
